Popular actor and host, Awal Ashaari who was involved in a car accident today had uploaded a 'selfie' photo of himself on social media platform, Instagram.
The image showed a photo of Awal smiling at his hospital in Melaka. His face a tad swollen and his forehead plastered with a white cotton, Awal looked exhausted but still managed a smile.
A grateful Awal wrote on his Instagram: “Alhamdulillah, there is no serious injury. Thank you for all the assistance and for helping to take me out from the wrecked car, sent me to the hospital and the treatment I have received from the Melaka Hospital.
“InsyaAllah, I will be transferred to Kuala Lumpur tonight. Please pray for my health,” said Awal.
A few minute after Awal posted his photo, Awal’s wife-actress Scha Alyahya re-posted her husband’s photo on her Instagram account @scaalyahya for her legions of her 1.3 million followers.
Earlier today, Awal was reportedly involved in a road accident near the South-bound Ayer Keroh Rest & Relax in Melaka.
The father of the nine-month old Lara Alana was on his way to a carnival site at Stadium Hang Jebat, Melaka with his manager, Izuan Mokhtar.
Entertainment journalist and host, Zuan Azmi confirmed the accident by uploading an image of Awal’s wrecked vehicle on his Instagram.
