Tom Abang Saufi to perform in MRC charity night

The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) will be organizing a charity dinner on June 29 at the Dewan Brunsfield, Kuala Lumpur. The red-white themed dinner will feature well-known celebrity Batik designer Dato’ Tom Abang Saufi, who will also be singing for the audience that night. "Singing is my other passion. I think have been singing for longer than my designing career. "But, I only sing to a private group of audience, family and friends. So, those attending the MRC charity dinner will be in for a treat," she said. It is believed that she will be singing both Malay and English songs including some of P.Ramlee’s famous classics. Audience can also look forward to performances by Kat Hassan, Akademi Fantasia finalist , Iqa, runner-up of reality TV show, Mentor and by a fresh new band, Spell S. The event will be hosted by Yasmin Yusuff. Tickets can be purchased at RM300 each person or RM3,000 per table.
