Tom Cruise seeks the truth in 'Oblivion'

A new trailer has been released for "Oblivion," a futuristic blockbuster by Joseph Kosinski ("Tron: Legacy").

The trailer sheds new light on the movie set for worldwide release in the spring.

In "Oblivion," Tom Cruise plays a soldier on a mission to Earth, 60 years after the population's exile following a war with an extraterrestrial species.

He soon discovers that the official version of the story appears to have been truncated.

Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough and Morgan Freeman will star with Tom Cruise in this futuristic odyssey due for release in North America on April 19.
