PARAMOUNT has unveiled a trailer for its forthcoming WWII drama "Allied", starring Brad Pitt and French actress Marion Cotillard in the lead roles.
The film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, sees Pitt play Max Vatan, a British intelligence officer who encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) during a mission in Casablanca, where a game of espionage including deep cover ensues.
The one-minute trailer hints that the two later reunite and fall in love, but the ongoing war threatens to destroy their relationship, with flashes of action depicting their fragile future (via IndieWire).
"Allied", which also stars Lizzy Caplan and Matthew Goode, is slated for release in theatres on November 23.
