WHEN "The Walking Dead" returns to screens this fall, the cast could include two new characters.

The American zombie-themed horror series is rumoured to have added two characters named Naomi and Jennie to its seventh season narrative, NME reports.

It is thought that Naomi will be an older woman and Jennie a teenager. The pair will reportedly make their entrance in episode six of the new run.

The upcoming series of the AMC show is expected to air in October.
