U2 premieres new song 'Ordinary Love'

Irish band U2 has premiered a new track, its contribution to the upcoming Nelson Mandela biopic "Long Walk to Freedom."

The track was premiered on Facebook via a lyric video by Oliver Jeffers and Mac Premo.

A 10-inch vinyl release of "Ordinary Love" will be offered in conjunction with Record Store Day's Black Friday event on November 29, the same day "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" is due to hit theaters in the US. A digital download will follow.

Meanwhile, Billboard reported earlier this month that U2 is planning to release a new album in 2014, with details expected to be announced during February's Super Bowl.
