Video of US navy band singing 'Assalamualaikum Ustazah' goes viral

A CLIP featuring an American navy band singing a song called Assalamualaikum Ustazah at the Cats FM Sarawak studio went viral on Facebook.
Since it was uploaded last week, the music video received 140,000 views and more than 4,000 shares.
The video featured the chorus of Assalamualaikum Ustazah sang by the band known as Pipeline from the US Pacific Fleet.
Netizens applauded the band for being able to sing in Bahasa Melayu fluently.
They also received positive feedback from Khalifah band - the original singer of the song.
The band comprises of Brent Mitchell (vocalist), Ray Lappoon, Trans Stanley, Mike DeLorean and Paul Tomson.
The band is in Malaysia in conjunction with Eksesais Pacific Partnership 2017, organised by the Defense Ministry, taking place today.
The band is expected to perform more than 40 songs were performed including a medley from Bruno Mars, Sunday Morning, Brown Eyed Girl, Love Yourself, Rude, Chicken Fried, Assalamualaikum, Letusan and Island In The Sun.
