Network Content Manager of hitz fm, Raqeem Brian said, “With almost two million listeners listening to our station, we need to be on top of our game in providing entertainment and companionship for our listeners.

"We are excited about our new breakfast team - J, Arnold & RD. With such a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, it is sure to be an exciting way for Malaysians to start their day”.

American born and bred, J, is a change from your sugary sweet announcers. His sarcastic alpha male presence and known to speak his mind than to bite his tongue, J adds street credo to the hitz announcer lineup.

“I’m excited to finally be a part of the hitz family. It’s a fantastic opportunity for me to do what I love, reaching out to listeners in this beautiful country. I will bring to the table my experience of handling breakfast shows to making every morning a spectacular one for everyone”, said J.

The new hitz Morning Crew also features new segments and programmes including Dirty Pop, Mind Trap and Repost Of The Day as well as maintaining the notorious gotcha calls. J will keep listeners updated daily on the latest Hollywood buzz during the “Dirty Pop” segment.

In “Mind Trap”, each announcer will choose a word and callers will have to refrain from saying the selected 3 words for one minute in order to win a cash prize. And finally, in “Repost of The Day”, announcer will share one social media post which catches their eye with fellow listeners.
