Watch the new trailer for 'Ice Age: Collision Course'

In the fifth film of the "Ice Age" series, Scrat (voiced by Chris Wedge), again chasing his prized acorn, sets off a series of potential catastrophes, including a hail of meteoroids. Manny (Ray Romano), Sid (John Leguizamo) and Diego (Denis Leary) set out to save the planet from impending doom. Among other adventures, the friends enlist a weasel astronomer -- voiced by the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson -- for help with stopping the shower of space rocks.

Also featured in the 3D computer-animated family adventure are Jennifer Lopez (Shira), Queen Latifah (Ellie), Seann William Scott (Crash), Josh Peck (Eddie), Wanda Sykes (Granny) and Keke Palmer (Peaches).

"Ice Age: Collision Course" will hit theaters in July (July 15 in the United Kingdom and July 22 in the United States).
