1,500 UMK students evacuated after flooding on campus

Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) has evacuated students after its campus was inundated by flood waters.
Some 1,500 students have now been evacuated from the Pengkalan Chepa campus and will be placed at the Bachok campus, said Vice Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Raduan Che Rose when contacted by Astro AWANI.
He added the affected students were waiting to sit for their final exams which will be postponed to a later date.
