More flood victims return home in Perak

The number of flood victims sheltered at relief centres in Perak has dropped further, from 1,219 people in the morning to 1,173 at noon.
However, there was no change in the number of flood evacuees in Kelantan and Pahang, with the numbers remaining at 545 and 337 people respectively.
In PERAK, a National Security Council (MKN) Perak spokesman said eight relief centres still remained open in three districts in the state with Perak Tengah having 973 evacuees, Hilir Perak (166) and Hulu Perak (34).
In PAHANG, a spokesman at the Pahang police headquarters flood operations room said 337 evacuees still remained at two relief centres in Temerloh.
In KELANTAN, a Welfare Department spokesman said 515 evacuees still remained at shelters in Kuala Krai and 30 in Machang.
