Najib arrives in Kelantan to oversee flood situation

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak arrived at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kelantan at 1.40pm for a briefing by the National Security Council (NSC) on the current flood situation in Kelantan.
Najib is also scheduled to chair a meeting with NSC, Disaster Management and Relief Committee, the state government and emergency relief team to set new measures in their efforts to assist those affected by the floods.
Najib, who previously was overseas, receive updates on the flood situation every day and also in constant contact with his deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Via his Twitter, Najib called on all agencies involved in the flood relief efforts to ensure food and medical supplies to be given out to the flood victims immediately.
He was also at a briefing on the flood situation by the NSC with Kelantan Flood Disaster Committee Chairman, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed before He then seen at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Batang, Tumpat to have a closer look at the flood victims.
