KHAIR: The postponement will involve five schooling days which will have to be replaced by the respective schools.
The start of the 2015 school session has be postponed once again.
Education director-general Datuk Seri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof in a statement today said the postponement will only involve schools still affected by the floods or used as relief centres.
“The postponement will involve five schooling days which will have to be replaced by the respective schools,” he said.
He added move had also received the go ahead by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in his capacity as Education Ministry and will involve some 41 schools in three states.
Four schools in Kelantan will begin on January 18, 2015 (Sunday) while 18 schools in Pahang and 19 schools in Perak will begin on January 19, 2015 (Monday).
Parents and members of the public are urged to contact the ministry or log on to its website.
