Seventeen tourists from Poland, Italy, Germany and Spain were killed as gunmen attacked a museum in the Tunisian capital on Wednesday, Prime Minister Habib Essid said.

He told reporters that they were among 19 people who died in the assault.

State TV said the two gunmen and a policeman were killed and that the incident was over.
