20 dead in Kazakh airliner crash

A passenger jet with 15 passengers and six crew members on board crashed on Tuesday in Kazakhstan, Interfax quoted sources and aviation officials as saying.
The jet, whose make or operator was not immediately made clear, went down in the southeast of the ex-Soviet nation not far from the financial capital Almaty and near the border with Kyrgyzstan, the news agency said.
Reports later revealed 20 were killed in the crash.
