US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Tuesday that he discussed U.S. sanctions on Russian oil giants Lukoil and Rosneft with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"During our meeting, I highlighted President Trump’s commitment to securing a lasting peace in Ukraine and discussed Treasury’s sanctions on Russia’s top oil giants, Lukoil and Rosneft," Bessent said on X.
