British police charge a man with dissemination of terrorist publications

British police on Wednesday charged a 30-year-old man with dissemination of terrorist publications, Scotland Yard has said.

Shah Jalal Hussain, who will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning, is linked to the investigation into Abu Nusaybah, who was charged last week with terror offences.

Hussain was arrested in east London over suspicions that he provided access to a video of a speech given by Khalid al-Husainan and a text called "Reality of the Rulers" written by Abu Zubair Adil al-Adab.

By doing so, he is accused of encouraging or inducing the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

Nusaybah, an alleged friend of London soldier murder suspect Michael Adebolajo, was arrested last week at the BBC after telling the broadcaster that British security services had tried to recruit his friend.

He has been charged with three terror offences and will appear in court on 28 June.

It is understood the arrest was not directly linked to the May 22 murder of soldier Lee Rigby, who was hacked to death in the street outside the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London.
