CANADIAN singer Bryan Adams made a last-minute exit from Saturday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony after testing positive for COVID-19.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adams was expected to join H.E.R. to perform “It’s Only Love” in honor of inductee Tina Turner, but a last minute positive Covid test made him to cancel his appearance, which was filled in by Country star Keith Urban.
This was Turner’s second induction into the Rock Hall, who previously entered in 1991 with former husband Ike Turner.
Those participating in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony were required to show a negative COVID-19 test, regardless of their vaccination status.
A representative for Adams confirmed that he is 'fully vaccinated and showed no symptoms'.
Further details, including when he tested positive or when he dropped out of the show, were not immediately clear.
