COVID-19 infections in Indonesia rose to 106,336 cases, including 1,761 new cases within a period of 24 hours.
According to the latest data available on the Indonesian government's official website on COVID-19 at www.covid19.go.id, 53,723 patients were still being monitored.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 83 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities from the viral infection to 5,058.
East Java Province has recorded the highest number of infections with 21,772 cases, followed by Jakarta (20,969) with the rest were in the other regions.
