The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia has increased to 113,134, including 1,679 new cases recorded within 24 hours.
From the data shown today on the Indonesian government's official website, www.covid19.go.id, 77,572 patients are still being monitored for the viral infection.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 66 more deaths were reported, bringing the total number to 5,302.
East Java Province has recorded the highest number of positive cases at 22,982, followed by Jakarta (22,616) and the 32 other provinces.
East Java has also recorded 1,741 deaths from COVID-19, the highest, followed by Jakarta (860), Central Java (665), South Sulawesi (321) and the rest of the provinces.
