Singapore has preliminarily confirmed an additional 569 cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the tally to 36,405.
The republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said, the noon data showed that most cases still involved migrant workers residing in dormitories and seven cases in the community.
The ministry, in a statement here, said it is still working through the details of the cases and further updates would be shared later today.
In full data released late Tuesday, Singapore classified 1,689 as community cases, 580 as imported cases and 33,567 as foreign workers residing in dorms.
A total of 23,175 patients, or about 65 per cent from yesterday's cumulative tally of 35,836, have fully recovered.
The ministry said 12,306 patients who have mild symptoms or clinically well but still tested positive for COVID-19, have been isolated and cared for at community facilities.
As of noon yesterday, 331 confirmed cases were still in hospitals with six in intensive care while 24 have died from COVID-19 complications in the republic.
Three new clusters have been identified on Tuesday, all were dormitories, at 6, Tuas View Square; 65 67 Tuas View Walk 2; and 18, Woodlands Industrial Park E1.
No new cases identified for the past two days at the republic's largest cluster, S11 Dormitory @ Punggol, thus, the total cases remained at 2,711.
