Ex-Thai PM detained

Former Thai prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra has reportedly been detained by the Thai military government Friday.
Also detained were several of her family members – a female relative, her brother-in-law as well as two other relatives who were holding political positions, Reuters reported.
The military said, Yingluck would not be held for more than a week. It is said the military just needed to fix the country’s internal crisis first.
Yingluck was reportedly being held at an undisclosed location.
Earlier Friday, the Thai military junta had summoned 155 of the kingdom’s ousted government leaders and banned them from leaving the country, following a coup that has provoked an international outcry.
The military regime, headed by General Prayut Chan-O-Cha, had suspended most of the constitution and declared a nationwide night-time curfew after months of political unrest and much bloodshed.
