Flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo disappears from radar - EgyptAir
EgyptAir said flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo had disappeared from radar.
An EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo had disappeared from radar, the airline said on Twitter today.
The MS804 flight is carrying 56 passengers. 3 security personnel, and 7 cabin crew, the airline said in a tweet.
The plane lost contact with radar at 02:45 Cairo time, the airline added.
An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar.

EGYPTAIR A320 was at a height of 37.000ft, and disappeared after entering the Egyptian airspace with 10 miles.

In March, an EgyptAir was hijacked and forced to land in Cyprus by Seif al-Din Mohamed Mostafa, a 58-year-old Egyptian who has a Cypriot ex-wife.
Cyprus authorities have described Mostafa as "psychologically unstable" and said the case was not "terrorism-related".

He is accused of forcing the plane to divert to Larnaca airport on the island's south coast on Tuesday by threatening to detonate an explosives belt that turned out to be fake.
