HRH Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah: A Royal Insight Into the Kedah Palace
Kedah enters a new phase with the ascent of Sultan Salahuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah to the throne.
On Monday, Kedahan will witness the pomp and splendor of a royal coronation. The last one took place in 1959 at the installation of Almarhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah.
In conjunction with the ceremony, Astro AWANI was granted a royal audience with His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Sultan Salehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah who has been installed as heir to the throne.
In this interview, His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin provides a little royal insight into palace life and what shapes and drives his father, the 29th Sultan of Kedah of the longest reigning sultanate in the region.
