Indonesia: COVID-19 infection tally now at 111,455 with 5,236 deaths

COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia continue to rise with 1,519 new cases reported within 24 hours, bringing the tally so far to 111,455.
According to the latest data available on the Indonesian government's official website on COVID-19 at www.covid19.go.id 63,366 patients were still being monitored.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 43 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities from the viral infection to 5,236.

East Java also has the highest number of deaths from COVID-19 at 1,719, followed by Jakarta (844), Central Java (655), South Sulawesi (321) and the rest were in the other regions.
