IRANIAN Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Thursday that Iran, in coordination with Oman, will jointly manage and regulate the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.

Iran will hold consultations with other regional countries in the Gulf region regarding the matter, but the final decision rests with Iran and Oman, according to Iranian officials.

Araghchi also stated that Iran possesses substantial evidence proving that the United States and Israel have used the airspace and territory of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to launch attacks against Iran.

He noted that the UAE maintains diplomatic relations with Israel, and that the political, trade and economic ties between the two countries are very close. Documents and evidence, he added, indicate that the UAE has also participated in certain military actions targeting Iran.

Regarding relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Araghchi said both countries are committed to maintaining their ties in a proper and dignified manner to ensure stable bilateral relations, and will continue their dialogue.

Meanwhile, Araghchi further noted that communication channels with Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei remain open, and that the leader's directives are always promptly conveyed and precisely executed.

He stressed that Mojtaba Khamenei has full control of the situation, and that for security reasons, intelligence agencies have advised against his public appearances.
