IRAN on Tuesday issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening a forceful military response if Israeli forces persist with strikes in southern Lebanon.

Iran's main military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a statement saying that since the United States and Iran reached a memorandum of understanding, Israeli troops have violated the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon for 84 times. It warned Israel to expect a harsh response if it does not halt its acts of aggression and provocation in southern Lebanon.
