Japan govt to help women who are fired from part-time work - Finance Minister

TOKYO: The Japanese government will compile measures to help women who are fired from part-time work, Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Tuesday, noting that suicides were on the rise among young women.

Aso did not elaborate on the nature of the measures or how the government would target just women.
