DAVOS, Switzerland: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said artificial intelligence must deliver tangible improvements in areas such as health, education and public-sector efficiency or risk losing public support for the energy needed to run it.

AI Brief
  • At Davos, Nadella said energy is now a scarce resource that must be used responsibly as AI grows.
  • He highlighted AIs potential to accelerate productivity across sectors and countries.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday (January 20) in a session moderated by BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Nadella framed energy as a scarce resource that must be justified by real-world outcomes.
