No Malaysians hurt in armed attacks on Coptic Christians in Egpyt

There have been no reports of Malaysians injured in the armed attacks on vehicles carrying Coptic Christians in Minya, Egypt, yesterday.
In a statement, Wisma Putra said Malaysia strongly condemned the armed attacks which killed 28 people, including children, and injured 23 others.
"The Government of Malaysia expresses its deepest condolences to the government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt and to the families and victims affected by the attacks," it said.
Wisma Putra said Malaysia through its embassy in Cairo would continue to monitor developments related to the incident.
The ministry also reminded all Malaysians in Egypt to remain vigilant at all times.
