President Barack Obama condemned an "horrific attack" on a Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday that left four people, including three US citizens, dead and urged Israelis and Palestinians to calm tensions.

"At this sensitive moment in Jerusalem, it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace," Obama said

In a recent development, Haaretz.com tweeted how Israel premier, Benjamin Netanyahu 'orders demolition of homes of two Palestinians behind Jerusalem attack'.
