One more Indian national to be charged for rioting in Little India
Singapore police have arrested a 35-year-old Indian national in relation to the rioting incident at Little India.
The subject will be charged in Court on Tuesday afternoon for the offence of Rioting under Section 147 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
To date, the total number of subjects being charged in court is 35, said the police in their latest update on the rioting incident.
On Dec 8, an isolated incident erupted in Little India, arising from the unlawful action of an unruly mob reacting to a fatal traffic accident involving a 33-year old Indian national
