WINDSOR: Britain's Prince Philip, the late husband of Queen Elizabeth the Second, will be laid to rest on Saturday in the royal vault in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The funeral ceremony will remember the Duke of Edinburgh as a man of “courage, fortitude and faith”, saluting both his service in the royal navy and his support for the queen over three quarters of a century.
Ahead of the funeral, insignia, medals and decorations chosen by the prince himself were laid out on the altar in the Chapel.
