Saudi announces Sept 11 as Wukuf day

The Day of Arafah, otherwise known as Wukuf Day, has been set for Sept 11, and Aidiladha will be celebrated the next day.
The Saudi Arabian government set the date after it announced that 1 Zulhijjah 1437 Hijrah would fall on Sept 3.

About two million Haj pilgrims from all over the world, including 22,320 Malaysians will gather at Arafah, about 22km from here, to pray and ask for forgiveness from God.
