Garson appeared in nearly 30 episodes in which he played talent agent Stanford Blatch and as Sarah Jessica Parker's male best friend, Stanford Blatch aka "Stanny" for both "Sex and the City" films.
He was most recently involved in the upcoming Sex and the City spin-off film and had been filming for the network's upcoming revival series, "And Just Like That," premiering this fall on HBO Max, according to Variety.
The versatile actor was also memorable in many films, such as "Little Manhattan," "There's Something About Mary," and "Groundhog Day."

His final tweet on September 4, 2021, shared a similar message of peace.
BE KIND TO EACH OTHER......ALWAYS. LOVE TO ALL. APRROACH KINDNESS.
