Singapore riot: Another three charged
Another three Indian nationals were charged in a Singapore court Wednesday with rioting in the republic’s Little India last Sunday night, bringing the total number of accused persons to 27.
The other 24 were charged Tuesday afternoon.
The latest suspects charged are Rajendran Ranjan, 22, Moorthy Kabildev, 24, and Sathiyamoorthy Sivaraman, 36, the Straits Times reported.
The trio has been remanded for further investigations and will return to court on Jan 18.
