IRAN'S chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Wednesday (June 17) that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to pre-war conditions following a peace deal between his country and the United States.
He stressed, however, that Tehran will not “disregard international law or established rules of navigation” but rather “remain fully within the bounds of international law.”

U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the war with Iran, a U.S. official told Reuters.
The memo had been signed digitally on Sunday by Vice President JD Vance and Qalibaf and witnessed by Trump, the official said.
