KUALA LUMPUR: Defence officials from Thailand and Cambodia will meet on December 24 to discuss the possibility of resuming a ceasefire between the two countries, Thailand's foreign minister said on Monday.

Sihasak Phuangketkeow at a briefing in Kuala Lumpur said Thailand welcomed the resumption of discussions on a truce at Monday's special meeting of counterparts from the ASEAN bloc.
