KFC Malaysia's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the implementation of the Good and Services Tax (GST) has won praise.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan, who visited the KFC Simpang Renggam outlet today, congratulated the company for its effort, KFC Malaysia said in a statement.
KFC Malaysia is registered with the Royal Malaysia Customs Department in compliance with the GST regulations, Senior Vice President, Ling Mee Jiuan said.
The GST which came into force on April 1, replaces the company's Sales and Services Tax.
"Customers either pay the same or less with the GST as the prices of some of their favourite meals have been reduced," he added.
