Best Actress winner Brie Larson made sure she stole the show with a classic approach to glamour that centered on a raspberry red lip that was both grown-up and fun.

Pinning her hair back from her face showcased her well-defined eyes, which had been underlined with a pale silver to make them appear as big and sparkly as possible.

Reese Witherspoon's beauty artist used the same trick, using a dusting of iridescent gold at the inner corner of the star's peepers to make them pop. A cerise lip color and dab of apricot blush kept the look warm and glowing. Saoirse Ronan took a similar approach, with a light coral lip and tousled hair keeping the look young and fresh.

Kerry Washington kept her look fashion-forward with a sultry smoky eye that was kept in check by lashings of winged liner and teamed with a nude lip for the ultimate sophisticated approach to red carpet makeup. Jennifer Lawrence followed suit, her eye makeup focusing on softly smudged autumnal browns and golds.

Olivia Munn stunned with a bold tangerine lip color that perfectly matched her gown, teamed with a flawless luminescent base, groomed brows and a lick of eyeliner. Tina Fey also rocked a coral-hued lip and dark eyes, while Cate Blanchett teamed her peachy lipstick with shimmering cheeks and eyes to glittering effect.

Priyanka Chopra channeled old-school beauty, opting for a deep red hue perfectly offset by heavy arched brows and dazzling earrings. Rooney Mara took a similar approach, calling the golden age of cinema to mind with her Hepburn-esque combination of oxblood lip color, straight brows, smoky eye and tight bun.
