Angry Birds creators and Dreamworks launch The Croods game

Rovio Entertainment Ltd, the creators of Angry Birds, teamed up with Dreamworks to release a new caveman-centric iOS game The Croods.

The Croods iOS game, which is currently available in the App Store for free, is based on the upcoming animated Dreamworks movie of the same name.

The game, rather than being a physics-based puzzle game like Angry Birds, is essentially a creature management game of "pre-hysterical" propotions. For example: it challenges gamers to trap and tame 10 weird creatures, to invent things with Grug Crood as well as to explore the game's prehistoric world with the rest of the Croods family.
