The fictional Sarah O'Connor plays a pivotal role and hailed as the saviour of the human population against the rise of blood-thirsty machine intelligent-force.
Journalist Sarah O'Connor's Twitter post, “A robot has killed a worker in a VW plant in Germany" immediately grabbed the attentions of the robotic-apocalypse themed movie, Terminator devotees.
Ardent fans of the sci-fi movie 'Terminator' started to associate real life Sarah O'Connor to the fictional Sarah O’Connor who is destined to save the last of mankind.
Sarah O’Connor became a sensation among the ardent fans of the movie when the Financial Times correspondent twitted about the death of a staff by a robot.
Her Twitter post took the social media round the bend.

The movie starring Hollywood fame, Arnold Schwarzenegger revolves around the combat between Skynet's synthetic intelligent machine network, and John Connor's Resistance forces putting the rest of the human race at stake.

Sarah expressed her discomfort over the reactions on social media as her true intention was to highlight the incident in a German factory.

According to reports, a 21-year-old external contractor and a colleague were installing the robot at the Baunatal plant when it suddenly struck him in the chest and crushed him against a metal plate.
"Robot-related fatalities are rare in western production plants as robots are kept behind safety cages to prevent accidental contact with humans. In this instance the contractor was standing inside the safety cage when the accident occurred.
"A Volkswagen spokesman stressed that the robot was not one of the new generation of lightweight collaborative robots that work side-by-side with workers on the production line and forgo safety cages," The Washington Post reported.
