Last Thursday marked another milestone in the Malaysian fashion calendar when the world’s number one fashion media brand, ELLE, presented its Malaysian edition publication at a very feminine and ritzy “Fashion meets Art” premier.
The launch took place at Zebra Square KL and saw the gathering of the country's elite group in the fashion and beauty industry including celebrities, artistes and socialites.
Guests were ushered in the hall for the official launch of ELLE Malaysia with the compelling melody from Arabyrd and Suhaili Michelin.
The glitzy party under the stars also featured three live art displays of local artistes painted on dresses created by local fashion designers including Alia Bastamam, Yasmin Ramli and Nurita Harith. All the creations will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to charity.
The first edition of ELLE Malaysia magazine featured a 308 page glossy fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle editorial with Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh gracing the cover page in a strapless number from Dior's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
One of Malaysia’s most prominent stars shared with readers what it meant in being successful and staying relevant in today’s world of modernity featured in an exclusive interview conducted in Paris.
ELLE Malaysia Editor-in-Chief, Andrea Wong is one proud captain who is pretty pleased with her team and their commitment in making their maiden issue a glitzy success.
With the launch, ELLE Malaysia readers can now enjoy daily access to fashion, trends, beauty and skincare, celebrity news and styles, and pop culture from new platforms
The magazine has been made available at newsstands from Friday 21 February.
Readers can also download its edition elle.my from the App Store for Apple and Google Play for android users.
