But when any of this happens, it is important to let your kids themselves know that they are not failures. Never scold them or say they are not good. Tell them to see that as a time for them to reflect and review their efforts and routine. It is a time for both parents and children to keep calm, be strong and continue the effort. Don’t let it dampen their spirits, instead, encourage them to #nevergiveup. Never give up I’m sure every kid wants to be like their favourite hero Datuk Lee Chong Wei. But Chong Wei did not win all the time. He too had his ups and downs. His losing streak to China’s Lin Dan, and subsequent doping issue, did not break his spirit to rise up again and win back-to-back titles in China and Hong Kong recently. What a great champ!
