Hollywood star and award-winning actress, Nicole Kidman is the new brand ambassador for the second-largest airline of the United Arab Emirates - Etihad Airways.

The launch of Etihad's new global brand campaign ‘Flying Reimagined’ and the worldwide premiere of a new television commercial (TVC) in Abu Dhabi yesterday was attended by the Hollywood actress herself with representatives of the global media and hundreds of specially invited guests.

The TVC, presenting Kidman as both star and narrator, was shot on board the airline’s new flagship A380 showcases the flight's captivating and luxurious flying experience.

It also highlights a digitally created scene of Kidman in the interior of the soon to be opened Louvre Abu Dhabi, celebrated architect Jean Nouvel’s futuristic and awe-inspiring showcase of modern architecture, influenced by the light and geometric patterns of the Emirate.

According to Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Etihad Airways is constantly pushing boundaries, taking inspiration from the world to provide a superlative in-flight experience for their guests.

Hence, Kidman is the perfect fit to promote the airline’s unconventional and leading the way in innovation, design, style and hospitality.
