The first owner of the iPhone 6 in Perth, Australia accidently slipped the brand new device the moment it was taken out of the box, reports The Independent.
Jack Cooksey, during a television interview, took out the new smart phone from the box to show it when it slipped and fell on the ground.
“I dropped it in a panic to get it open, luckily it’s covered in plastic, so it’s fine.” Cooksey said.
He was seen checking the mobile’s screen to make sure it did not have any scratches.
According to the news portal, Cooksey was looking forward to getting the phone home after reserving it online. Reportedly, he had walked straight past the line of some 200 customers camping outside the Perth Apple store to collect it.
"I just can’t wait to open it again - and not drop it,” he said
Australia was one of the first countries in the world to put the new iPhone 6 on sale.
