Premature ejaculation: A condition rarely spoken of
Premature ejaculation (PE), a condition suffered by many men around the world is a subject hardly touched by many people. According to a survey by Kantar Health, almost 30 percent of men in the Asia-Pacific region are diagnosed with PE.
PE, a condition defined as 'ejaculation which always or nearly occurs about one minute of sexual intercourse' has almost one of three men under its spell.
PE is fast becoming a threat to many couples as it may be one of the causes of the increase in divorce rates. Many men felt that it was taboo to speak about the condition and preferred to "sweep the problem under the carpet".
#Awani spoke to Dr George Lee from Monash University to get his view on this issue in this first part of this two part series. We will bring you the second part of the interview tomorrow.
