In a happy ending story, a ridiculed Indonesian woman proved everyone wrong after marrying the man of her dream, her very own Korean prince.
Vera Nanda Putri has always been mesmerised with Korea and its culture especially after watching popular show Running Man.
In 2015, she decided to go to South Korea for a language course in the Seoul National University. There she met a graphic designer Jun and they soon became a couple.
However, their relationship met many challenges because of their different cultures, according to news portal Koreaboo.
Their relationship was also ridiculed in the social media. Some netizens said Vera was not beautiful enough for Jun.
However, Jun proved his love to her by calling her father and asked for her hand in marriage.
The couple flew to Jakarta after Vera’s father agreed to the marriage and Jun proposed to Vera in Jakarta.
The couple then were married in February this year and held two separate functions incorporating their Indonesian and Korean culture.
