A YEAR after teasing the device, Breathometer announced at this year's IFA that it will partner with oral care leader Philips to launch Mint -- a monitor to help users beat bad breath, reports Tech Crunch.
The partnership will allow Breathometer to move forward with other health and wellness products. They plan to partner with Philips on more product lines in the future, and look to create other long-term partnerships.
Breathometer says Mint will be a more consumer-friendly method in analyzing health than blood or urine analysis. Studying breath can offer insight into asthma, lung health, metabolic rates, diabetes and more.
Mint retails at $99.99 (around RM410) and will start shipping on Sept 30.
