Meeting the Royalty may be something that is usual for the common Malaysian but such an experience could be overwhelming for a foreigner.
That could be the case for a young girl who was recorded having a friendly encounter with the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and his wife Tuanku Zara Salim.
The precious moment was recorded and uploaded to Facebook by a user name Maggie Ong.
Maggie is an employee at Syeun Hotel, Ipoh, where the Singaporean girl had stayed during her visit to Perak.
The child who is about the age of 10, had waved at Sultan Nazrin when she saw him at the hotel.
The Perak Ruler then walked to the child and took a photo with her.
The video has been viewed more than 200,000 times since it was uploaded on May 13th.
Netizens were full of praises for the Ruler, admiring his humbleness, adding that it must have been a wonderful memory for the girl.
